Mythos

Terms of Service

Mythos World Services LLC · Effective date: September 24, 2026 · Last updated: September 24, 2026

1. About us and our services

Mythos is a US limited liability company, organized in New Mexico, that provides revenue-cycle management, medical billing and credentialing services to behavioral health practices in the United States. Our billing team works from a dedicated office in Islamabad, Pakistan, during US business hours; patient data is accessed only through US-hosted systems as described on our Trust page and in our Business Associate Agreement.

The Site is informational. Nothing on the Site is an offer to contract. Services, pricing and availability are confirmed only in a separate written Services Agreement and Business Associate Agreement (BAA) signed with your practice, and we may decline any engagement. If anything on the Site conflicts with those agreements, the signed agreements control.

2. How our billing engagements work

So you know what to expect before we talk, our standard Services Agreement is built on these principles (the signed agreement sets out the binding terms):

  • Payers pay you, not us. Insurance and patient payments are deposited directly into your practice's bank account. Mythos never receives, holds or endorses payments on your behalf. We invoice our fees to you separately.
  • You own the clinical record and the claim. The rendering provider is responsible for the accuracy and completeness of clinical documentation and for the services billed. We submit claims based on your documentation and flag issues we find; we never add, change or "upcode" services without the provider's documented support and approval.
  • No guaranteed results. We work to reduce denials and speed up payment, but we cannot guarantee reimbursement amounts, collection rates, payer decisions or timelines. Any figures on the Site marked as examples or averages are illustrative, not a promise of results.
  • Payer-side recovery only. Our past-due recovery service works with insurance payers. We do not contact patients to collect balances.
  • Term. Month-to-month; either party may end the engagement with sixty (60) days' written notice. On exit, we return your data in a usable format and then destroy our copies as required by the BAA.

3. No professional advice

Content on the Site — including blog posts, guides and videos — is general information about billing practices. It is not legal, medical, coding, compliance or tax advice, and payer rules change often. Confirm requirements with the relevant payer and your own advisers before acting on it.

4. Do not submit patient information

Do not submit protected health information (PHI) or other patient data through the Site, our contact form, chat or email. We will receive PHI only after a BAA is signed and only through a secure channel we agree with you.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the Site unlawfully; attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or our systems; interfere with the Site's operation, including by introducing malware or overloading it; scrape the Site by automated means except for standard search-engine indexing; or submit false information.

6. Intellectual property

The Site and its content — text, design, graphics, logos and software — are owned by Mythos or its licensors and protected by US and international law. You may view and print pages for your own internal business use. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works without our written permission. "Mythos" and our logo are our trademarks.

Feedback. If you send us suggestions or ideas about our Site or services, we may use them without restriction or payment to you.

7. Third-party services and links

The Site uses or links to third-party services (for example, Calendly for scheduling). We are not responsible for their content, availability or practices; your use of them is governed by their terms.

8. Disclaimers

THE SITE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MYTHOS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS OR REVENUE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM THE SITE OR ITS CONTENT, INCLUDING ANY RELIANCE ON BLOG POSTS, GUIDES OR VIDEOS, WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (US$100). Liability for billing services is governed solely by, and capped under, the Services Agreement and BAA. Mythos's members, managers and employees have no personal liability to you, and you agree to bring any claim only against Mythos World Services LLC.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Mythos against claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or breach of these Terms.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

Talk to us first. Before filing any claim, you agree to email us at raza.afzal@mythosmd.com describing the dispute, and both sides will try in good faith to resolve it within thirty (30) days.

If it isn't resolved, any dispute arising from these Terms or the Site will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New Mexico, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court instead. Any claim arising from the Site must be brought within one (1) year after it arises, to the extent the law allows.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Changes apply from the date posted and do not apply to disputes that arose before then. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept them.

13. General

These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us about the Site. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. We may assign these Terms, including to a successor in a merger or sale of our business; you may not assign them without our consent. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. Communications we send you electronically satisfy any requirement that they be in writing.
